DISNEYLAND! DISNEYLAND! DISNEYLAND! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had so much fun. We wondered if Zayne would even enjoy going or if he would think anything of it. But he really did. He looked around at everything and smiled when he really liked things. It is so great. And we decided that season passes were the best deal. Being a resident is awsome, the passes are half and they have payment plans. Very reasonable. I was surprised. Now we can go whenever. 215 days out of the year. Woohoo! We are going again this coming Friday! Well, actually we are going to California Adventure. Yes, they are 2fer passes. And of course we know that Makayla loves the idea. She gets to ride all the rides twice because we have to do the switch pass. That lets Dewey & I both ride rides. Just never together. Except the kiddy ones of course. And there are alot more rides for Zayne to go on than I realized. We are definately going to get our moneys worth and a whole lot more. And what great memories for the Family.

We have gone on 2 fun outings this past month. This was our first. Zayne loved all the animals. Good Family Fun.
We took Subway for lunch. Such a great trick from Mom.

I know I know... I am late on updating... But better late than never, right? Here is Christmas! Our first Christmas in our home. It was a blast.
And we are carrying on the tradition of reading the true Christmas story before we start.




This is our actual tree. The Funky looking one was our attempt to have a real one but it was too small for a stand so I tried to put it in wet soil. Well as you see we ended up with a fake pretty tree that doesn't lean over. It was a nice try though.

Lovey Boy

This is a huge bear that Dewey bought for Zayne. He loves to give it hugs. And of course whenever he sees a camera that smile comes. It is so fun seeing his personality develop. He wiggled off my lap and slid down off the couch and stood holding on to the couch. He is so use to jumping in his jumper that he lost his balance. I was surprised how good he could stand with so little help. He liked it. I think it made him feel BIG!

I can't believe how time flies. Zayne is saying his first words. He started with Hi about a week or two ago and then last week we thought he said baba and this weekend he started saying dada. It is so cute. We even thought we heard 'Hi dada'. He will be 8 mo in a week. He likes to sit up and play, but looses his balance after a while and plopps over. The best thing is his big bright smile. I just want to eat him up...hehehe.

WE HAD FUN!!!

HALLOWEEN~~~~BOO!

We started our fun on Halloween Eve. Our new family tradition for Halloween is to make a Pumpkin stew. Ohhhh...did it turn out soooooooooo good! Then we did our cut-out cookies and while they baked the carving began. What a fun family night together. Its all about the ohana!

We went for a fun hike to Waimea Falls. We were so glad that Dewey's Mom Cim was able to come with us. We had a great time. We did't get to swim this time because of the rains. Not sure why. Zayne fell asleep and then I ended up carrying him after he woke up. It was a great workout, going to Oahu, we did a lot of walking and hiking and I fit into my jeans now. The last little bit came right off.YAY!!!

The Laie Temple is so beautiful. Dewey's great grandfather Tautua was called from Samoa to Oahu to help build this Temple. I was so sad that it was closed. We didn't get to do a session. Next time.



We were so excited to see someone named an icecreamery after Bubby Zayne.

I am so excited to be going to the islands. We are going over my birthday! Oct. 6-13th
It's going to be a blast. I will take lots pics. We will be staying in Punaluu with a beautiful view of the ocean. I very much wanted to visit the Temple while we are there but unfortunately it is closed for the year. We will still go walk the sacred grounds. i am excited to see where Dewey grew up and visit all the historical sites. Pearl Harbor will be amazing to experience knowing what happened there. And I can't wait to visit some water falls. OOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and eat some Local food. Yummmmmmmmmy..................

HI Everyone!!! We are back... hopefully I can keep this updated;~}
Makayla just started 6th grade. She is loving it. She is excited because she got a locker inside with the 7th graders. She met her new bestfriend Megan the first day of school. They eat together and meet at her locker inbetween classes to say hi. I'm so thankful she has a good friend.
Zayne is growing so fast. He is a big boy. At his 4 mo appt he was 18.9 lbs 26 in. He is 5 mo and 8 days. I'm sure he is over 20lbs. I just measured and I think he is 28.5 in long. He was wiggly. He is eating cereal and fruit. We have tried pears and he likes them.
